Loko Suederdiek was born in Frisia, Germany.

She studied history of art in Germany and architectural drafting in Australia, took courses in weaving and

textile art in Germany and the United States, till finally she got into painting in the early '90s.

Since 1997 she works as a full-time artist, doing mainly abstract paintings in oil and acrylics.

She lived many years in South America, in Australia and New Zealand, and in different parts of Spain.

Today she has her studio in Germany, but spends several months each year

travelling and working (painting) in other parts of the world.

Exhibitions in Switzerland (Geneva, Lugano), France (Strasbourg),

Netherland (Ameland), Spain (Ibiza) and Germany (Hamburg, Wilhelmshaven,

Goettingen, Mannheim, Norden).
